This beautiful, reddish green, small remaining Cryptocoryne is super for the foreground or middle ground, where it breaks up a lawn planting in a very natural way, or for the middle ground in nano aquariums. This very robust small variant of Cryptocoryne undulatus is also suitable as an underplanting of roots or as a foot planting of higher stem plants - Garnelio
Description
1-2-GROW! Cryptocoryne undulatus 'Red'
100% sterile laboratory aquarium plants in sealing cups.
This red version of Cryptocoryne undulata occurs naturally in rivers in Sri Lanka.
The plant is easy to care for and tolerates many different conditions in the aquarium. Its appearance depends in part on these conditions.
Low light conditions and nutrients in the aquarium cause the plant to grow relatively tall, green-brown in color, and with slow growth. More light and nutrients in combination with additional CO2, make the plant grow considerably faster with shorter leaves in a red-brown coloration.
Our recommendation: For a magnificent plant growth we recommend the use of the NatureHolic fertilizer series and for new plant establishment the Premium Nutrient Substrate NatureHolic GroundBooster.
