2x filter foam - round/fine

The fine round filter foam is a replacement medium for aquarium internal filters such as Eheim Aquaball 2206. In this process, the round filter sponges serve to mechanically and biologically clean the water, reliably removing pollutants and particles from the water, which could otherwise affect the quality.

In particular, the decomposition of organic pollutants in the aquarium affects the water values and its quality, so these metabolic products should be removed in time. The filter foam reliably stops pollutants and offers useful microorganisms a place to settle and multiply on its enlarged surface. These effectively contribute to the decomposition of pollutants and the water becomes crystal clear again.

A well-maintained filter is the be-all and end-all of a well-functioning aquarium. Therefore, maintain the filter media reliably and regularly. Be careful never to replace all filter media at the same time, otherwise too many of the good bacteria will be lost.
