ADA - New Lily Pipe Inflow V-3 - 13 mm

The filter inlet for external filter ADA New Lily Pipe Inflow V-3 by Aqua Design Amano is made with the highest craftsmanship from high quality transparent glass. The connection of the New Lily Pipe Inflow V-3 fits 12/16 mm thick filter hoses. In terms of appearance and style, the filter inlet is perfect in combination with ADA's various Lily Pipe outflows. The ADA New Lily Pipe Inflow V-3 is designed for open, frameless aquariums.

The simple straight shape of the U-shaped filter inlet for aquascapes does not distract from the layout. The elegant glass filter inlet sits low in the aquarium for good water circulation.

The filter inlet slots are positioned to prevent them from sucking in fish or fallen leaves from aquarium plants - increasing the life of the external filter and providing more consistent filtration performance. Every now and then, the filter slots need to be cleaned if plant parts have settled on them. If shrimp or very small fish live in the aquascape, the filter inlet should be protected with an additional Filter Guard.

The ADA New Lily Pipe Inflow V-3 is designed for aquariums up to 60 lit ers with a filter flow rate of 10 liters/minute. The New Lily Pipe Inflow V-3 is attached to the outside of the aquarium with the attached suction cup and hung over the edge of the aquarium.

The filter hose coming from the aquarium's external filter is connected to the glass ADA New Lily Pipe Inflow V-3. Because the Lily Pipe Inflow is approximately 1 millimeter larger than the inner diameter of the tubing, this connection holds tight and watertight. If the end of the filter tube is briefly heated in hot water, the material becomes more pliable. If you also rub the connection of the ADA New Lily Pipe Inflow V-3 with a little detergent-water mix, it is much easier to push the hose onto the filter inlet.
