ADA - PS-UTL 2 - blue transparent - 2m

The pressure resistant 4/6 mm ADA CO2 hose PS-UTL 2 is blue transparent. The gas-tight hose has an inner diameter of 4 mm and an outer diameter of 6 mm. The high pressure hose from Aqua Design Amano in the highest quality allows virtually no gaseous CO2 to escape through the hose wall to the outside. The inconspicuous blue hose has the length of 2 meters and can be easily cut to the desired length with a sharp knife.

CO2 pressure hose is needed to connect the CO2 system with the CO2 diffuser in the aquarium. Air hose or silicone hose lets too much carbon dioxide through, but is often used for connecting glassware accessories (such as the bubble counter or a glass CO2 diffuser), because the ADA CO2 hose in blue is not ideally suited for this due to its stiffness. For the last piece in the CO2 hose section from the diffuser to the non-return valve, the transparent silicone hose from the ADA Clear Parts Set (please order separately) is therefore often used in aquascaping .

However, the silicone hose is only used for the very last, shortest possible section to connect the  glassware; the rest of the tubing from the pressure reducer of the CO2 supply to the check valve is done with gas-tight, CO2 solid pressure hose.

To attach the blue ADA CO2 pressure hose to the outside of the aquascape or planted aquarium, the suction cups from Aqua Design Amano's ADA Clear Parts Set are perfect. They have a holder for 4/6 mm hose. Please order separately.
