Algofree - against filamentous algae

Thread layers and floating algae in the aquarium are not only annoying, but also indicate an imbalance in the water parameters. With our Algofrei you put a stop to this and ensure an algae-free view again. Especially in older aquariums, phosphate deposits are often found that originate from organic waste such as food residues, dead plants or dead animals.

Basically phosphate is a plant nutrient.  If plants are missing as "nutrient consumers", depots can quickly develop which support algae growth. Therefore, the water values should be checked regularly with a suitable water test in order to be able to take measures in time. With Algofrei this becomes crystal clear again!

Place the Algofrei at a well flowed place in your aquarium filter and check the water values both before the application and during it. As soon as the PO4 rises again, the substrate should be replaced. Once phosphate is absorbed, the medium retains it and does not release it back to water. Due to the increased surface of the granulate, pollutant-degrading bacteria are also offered an optimal settlement area, so that they can reliably start their work already in the filter.
