Apple tree branches 7st. - 10cm Delicious & Decorative

Shrimp, crayfish, catfish and snails love branches to nibble on. Shrimp and snails tend to graze on the surfaces and eat the biofilms that form here, while crayfish and also catfish scrape off, nibble off and eat the wood themselves. This is a healthy way for them to meet their fiber needs. The apple tree is a well-known rose plant, its wood is medium soft and is readily grazed and eaten. Unfortunately, apple trees in particular are often heavily sprayed in agriculture and the wood can therefore not be used in the aquarium.

Our apple trees, on the other hand, are not treated with pesticides. Their branches are a pure, untreated natural product, they can be used without restriction with invertebrates and fish.

Apple wood contains not only valuable tannins, but also minerals and trace elements. And it is not only a valuable food supplement, but also a great, very natural-looking decoration. Several branches together offer ideal hiding places especially for young shrimps. With 10 cm length the branches have a good size for it.

At the beginning the branches can float up, so they should be weighted down a bit.
