With the aquatic plant set for beginners from Tropica you buy a total of 6 pots with popular aquarium plants that are undemanding and robust. With the practical beginner set you cover the foreground, middle ground and background in the aquarium.
All these aquarium plants are robust, look very nice and do not require extensive care. You don't need to run a CO2 system on the aquarium for these classics of plant aquaristics to grow well and look beautiful! These aquarium plants are happy even with medium light. In terms of water values, these uncomplicated aquarium plants make no demands - they are suitable for both hard and soft water, and all water parameters in between.
True aquarium plants offer many advantages in aquariums with fish and invertebrates - they absorb pollutants from the water and produce vital oxygen. Aquarium plants are in direct competition with unsightly algae and make life quite difficult for the annoying algae carpets.
The plant set for beginners in aquaristics is suitable for larger aqu ariums with a height of 40-50 cm.
Please note: Anubias barteri var. barteri grows best if you do not plant it in the substrate, but tie it onto a stone or an aquarium root.
The stem plant Hygrophila should be cut back at regular intervals - you can use the cut stems as cuttings and plant them.
