Cryptocoryne beckettii "petchii'' from Sri Lanka is a small variety of Cryptocoryne beckettii that gets beautiful, slightly wavy leaf edges. As with many other Cryptocorynes, leaf color and shape depend very much on the environment of the aquarium, but it usually grows 10-15 cm tall and 15 cm wide at most. The leaves usually turn a beautiful olive brown in the aquarium with a purple underside.
