With the Bones Root you can pack an eerily beautiful design into the aquarium in no time. The five individual pieces can be quickly and easily assembled into an unusual layout. They are a pure, hand-picked natural product that is ideal for underwater use.

Initially, the Bones Root may float up, so we recommend pre-watering them in a bowl of aquarium water beforehand until they are fully soaked and then they will stay down later in the aquarium. Alternatively, simply weight them down underwater with a heavy object.

The rough surface of the pieces of wood provides an excellent place for beneficial microorganisms to settle, which contribute to the decomposition of pollutants through their activity. Dwarf shrimps, but also snails, like to eat them and thus breathe new life into the Bones Root. But also wood-eating catfish, which need cellulose for their digestion, like to rasp on the pieces of wood.

The bone-like root pieces can also be spiced up with small perches or mosses in various shades of green, making them really cool eye-catchers in the aquarium. The size of the pieces can also be changed by cutting or sawing them off.
