With the brown nano shrimp gravel from Dennerle , you ensure a very natural look in the aquarium. Especially the dark color tone increases the well-being of your pets immensely, so that they form magnificent and bright colors and virtually shine. In addition, the substrate represents the largest biological filter medium of all in the tank, because useful bacteria settle on its large surface, which not only improve the water quality, but are also eagerly eaten by your shrimp.

With a special nutrient substrate, such as our Ground Booster, which you can find in our store, you offer your plants an optimal medium for a magnificent growth. This slow-release fertilizer optimally supplies the plant roots with nutrients, thus ensuring strong root development and impressive colors. This enriches the water optimally with oxygen and even deprives algae of the food basis, which is why they are inhibited in their development, which is especially advantageous for newly set up tanks.

The Borneo Shrimp Gravel is hardness-free and thus optimally suitable for all aquariums. It is also lightfast and guaranteed free of harmful substances. The rounded grains with a grit of 0.7-1.2 millimeters are particularly suitable for keeping mussels, but the sensitive barbels of armored catfish are also protected. Dwarf shrimps can lift the grains and search for food.

We recommend this substrate setup:
Fill in approx. 2 cm Dennerle NanoDeponitMix Special Nutrient Substrate or another nutrient substrate and then cover with at least 3 cm Dennerle Nano Shrimp Gravel.

Before first use, the gravel should be washed out several times with cold water to remove abrasion caused by transport. By the way, you can find more colors in the store!
