A very pretty needle siamese for the foreground, it is also wonderfully suitable as a lawn plant in aquascapes in which a summer meadow is to be imitated. You can mix it with other ground covers (which looks very natural) or plant it alone. It does not necessarily need CO2 fertilization and is happy with medium light. - Garnelio

Description

The dwarf needle siamese Eleocharis pusilla is often also called Eleocharis parvula. This sill grows to a maximum height of only 5 cm and is easily recognizable by its slightly curved fine culms. Originally this beautiful grass plant comes from Australia and New Zealand. Beautiful as a ground cover in the foreground, also suitable for nano aquariums.

Eleocharis parvula multiplies by runners willingly and relatively quickly. The carpets soon become very dense. To propagate, simply separate a piece of runner with daughter plants and plant it.
