XL pot (9 cm) are large mother plants.
This beautiful plant is a cross between Echinodorus horemanii "Rot'' and Echinodorus horizontalis and was first bred in 1986 by Hans Barth in Dessau.
New underwater leaves are pink and the leaves have reddish-brown spots when first planted in the aquarium. A nutrient-rich soil promotes the growth of the plant which grows 25-40 cm high, but otherwise Echinodorus 'Rosé' is undemanding and thus ideal for beginners.
