Die hübsche Gerippte Schwarze Turmdeckelschnecke hat ein auffallend schön skulpturiertes Gehäuse und wird recht groß. Im Verhältnis zu seiner Länge wirkt das Häuschen recht schlank und spitz. Sie vermehrt sich nicht ganz so stark wie Melanoides tuberculatus, ist aber wie diese auch zur Jungfernzeugung fähig. Nützlich ist diese elegante Schnecke aber auch — sie lockert den Bodengrund auf und bringt Nährstoffe an die Pflanzenwurzeln. Sie ist ein exzellenter Resteverwerter und kümmert sich sowohl um Futterreste wie auch um abgestorbene Pflanzenteile. - Garnelio

Environment Aquarium Soil - 9 L

Environment Aquarium So il is an active substrate made of various baked and sterilized soils, specially developed for use in aquariums. It naturally lowers and stabilizes the pH (depending on the source water to about 5.5 - 6.5), as well as the water hardness, creating optimal conditions in the aquarium for plants and animals that thrive in soft water.

Due to its special properties, Environment Aquarium Soil ensures crystal clear water. It is rich in natural nutrients for magnificent plant growth and lush green moss. The contained fulvic acids additionally improve the environment for plants, animals and microorganisms from day one.

Directions for use:

Do not wash out the substrate before use
Distribute the substrate evenly, or create your desired layout
Let water run into the aquarium carefully and slowly

Tip: To avoid swirling of the substrate, it is recommended to let the water run in e.g. over a saucer or similar Notes

The Environment Aquarium Soil (not Powder Type) is also suitable for bottom filters
Not suitable for keeping fish that like to burrow in the substrate (possibly permanent water turbidity)
Not suitable for fish, shrimp or plants that require a high pH value
Slight water turbidity after setup will pass after a short time if filtration is working and the water will become crystal clear
Do not use Environment Aquarium Soil for any purpose other than keeping plants and animals in freshwater aquariums
Store bag closed, prevent desiccation.
