Among the nano stones here in our online store you will find many different colorful and beautifully drawn stones in smaller sizes, which you can use in the aquarium.
They form in the nano aquarium class accents in the foreground to middle ground, but also in larger aquariums you can set beautiful accents with the mini rocks offered in this category, with the mini landscape, the beautifully shaped pagoda stones, patterned leopard stones and the samurai stones from NanoNature and provide especially for dwarf shrimp and dwarf crayfish hiding places, which they gladly accept.
Besides the brown and gray stones we can offer you tumbled wetrocks - these are colored semi-precious stones like rose quartz, jasper, tiger eye, sodalite and many more as well as normal, yet beautifully colored stones - for stunning accents and color points in the freshwater aquarium.
Stones are playing an increasingly important role in aquarium design, and it's now hard to imagine layouts without them as a distinctive part. As part of the hardscape, stones, along with root wood, provide the basic structure of an aquascape or planted aquarium. Stones provide support to the eye and limit the spread of aquatic plants. Stones can be used to add color accents or to visually divide the aquarium into zones.
Especially the small stones make a layout look much more natural and detailed than if you only use big chunks. The rounded edges of our tumbled stones are very safe for all aquarium inhabitants, because no one can hurt themselves here.
Thefollowing applies to soft water aquariums: Some stones may contain lime. They are only suitable for aquariums with a pH above 7-7.5. If you are not sure whether a type of stone is suitable for your aquarium with soft water and a slightly acidic pH, do the acid test. A few drops of an acid such as citric acid or vinegar essence drizzled on the stone will cause calcareous stones to foam - due to the carbon dioxide produced when the acid reacts with the lime. If this is the case, please do not use the stone in your soft water aquarium or coat it with epoxy resin before use.
