The Hole Lava from Hobby is ideal for planting, as is the Nano Hole Rock. Here Anubias, Congo fern, Java fern or Bucephalandra find a good support for their roots. Hygrophila pinnatifida is also in good hands here. The perching plants are simply inserted into the holes - done. Now all you have to do is enjoy the sight and let the aquatic plants grow!

Unplanted, the Loch Lava stones and, of course, the silicone-bondable Grottenlava provide great hiding places for small crayfish, dwarf crayfish and shrimp. These stones are also a great way to provide structure for the animals in their habitat and allow them to avoid each other - important for example after a molt or for egg bearing females.

Useful bacteria and biofilms can settle well underwater on the very porous surface of the lava, but mosses also find plenty of support here for their fine adhesive organs.

These stones and rocks are ideal for creating an impressive hardscape in a planted aquarium or even in a sparsely planted breeding tank.

They make excellent decoration for the aquarium, especially in the middle ground of nano tanks as well as larger aquariums. Stone structures can also be used to provide a good structure for crabs and other terrarium inhabitants in the aquaterrarium and even in the terrarium.

Grotto Lava is also really good for building a land part in a paludarium or bonsai aquarium. You can use it to beautify the back wall in the aquarium or create impressive stone structures. For a very natural-looking design in the aquarium, aquaterrarium and terrarium, natural rock is the first choice!
