The water-neutral fairy tale stones do not add any hardness components to the water and are therefore ideal for soft water aquariums or aquacapes where low hardness levels are usually the goal. With small Ground coverbut also perching plants like Anubias, Bucephalandra or Java ferns they can be transformed into extraordinary eye-catchers. Also Mosses can be glued on very easily, which continue to grow on the plateaus.
The large surface area of the fairy stone also provides beneficial purification bacteria with an additional large surface area to colonize. These break down pollutants and waste, effectively improving water values. Especially shrimps like to nibble down this biofilm. Thanks to the many hollows, the little ones also find great hiding places and climbing opportunities.
