Filter fleece mat

It is impossible to imagine the filter technology in the aquarium without filter fleece mats. Thereby they are a great all-rounder, which nevertheless takes over a lot of tasks and helps to maximize the water quality in the aquarium. Not only does this benefit the fish, but also your invertebrates and even the plants. On the increased surface, which is the filter fleece mat, especially useful cleaning bacteria find an excellent place to settle and multiply.

Choose the filter fleece mat from two sizes via the selection menu!

The filter fleece mat is available from us in two sizes, which you can select yourself via the menu. With a pair of scissors you can easily cut the mat into shape according to your needs. If possible, insert the filter fleece mat at the last position in the aquarium filter, so that the fine material is not clogged too quickly by coarse dirt. In this way, the filter fleece efficiently filters out the smallest dirt particles and also algae residues, so that your aquarium water becomes crystal clear again, and turbidity is also removed in the process. The water-neutral synthetic fibers are well suited for this job.

Check the filter media carefully and replace them from time to time. Especially if the water flow decreases noticeably, you should pay attention to the filter. However, never change all filter media at the same time, otherwise you will lose too many of the microorganisms that contribute to the breakdown of pollutants.
