The white filter wadding is a great all-rounder in water hygiene and an indispensable part of filter technology. Especially in the aquarium filter it takes over a variety of tasks that help to keep the quality of the water parameters permanently high. This benefits not only your fish, but also invertebrates and plants. Especially useful cleaning bacteria find a great place to settle on the enlarged surface and already take over the lion's share of the pollutant decomposition.

Choose from these quantities: 100g, 250g, 500g

Use the filter wadding in the last place in the aquarium filter, because it is so fine that otherwise it will be clogged by coarse dirt and prevent the water flow. Always use your filter media from coarse to fine. Finally, the filter wadding efficiently retains the smallest dirt particles and also algae residues, so that your aquarium water is permanently crystal clear and turbidity is also removed. The synthetic fibers are water neutral and perfectly suitable for use in the aquarium.

From time to time you should replace the filter floss. Especially if the water flow of the filter is noticeably reduced, this is a sure sign. Never change all filter media at the same time and replace the wadding with new material, as it will be compacted by washing out and will no longer show any filtering effect. Since a large part of the useful cleaning bacteria are lost by the exchange, we recommend the use of a bacteria preparation such as our Crusta Bacter, which we carry in the store, to replace them.

Tip: Filter wadding is also great for cleaning aquarium glass or plastic cladding! It is also very easy to portion by hand.
