from over 3,000 reviews "The tannins contained in Garnelio Oak Bark have a positive effect on the well-being of invertebrates and ornamental fish - similar to peat. The 100% pure Garnelio Oak Bark is an ideal supplement for shrimps, crayfish and and also for rasping catfish. The bark is readily grazed and gradually eaten. It provides not only tannins, but also vital fiber. They are especially valuable for crayfish and herbivorous loricariids.
Oak bark gives the aquarium water a beautiful golden-yellow shimmer, which makes the colors of the animals and plants shine even more beautifully.
The crushed and dried oak bark can be left in the aquarium until it is decomposed or eaten. It thus also makes a beautiful and very natural aquarium decoration, providing welcome cover for baby shrimp and also baby crabs.
Add about one teaspoon to 20 liters and replace the bark when it has been eaten.
