Here, in addition to freshly skinned shrimp and egg-bearing female shrimp, dwarf crayfish also find a suitable retreat. Especially dwarf crayfish live rather solitary and are rather crepuscular and nocturnal. During the day they are very grateful for a hiding place. Place the shrimp palace in such a way that you can look in through the glass - this way you can always observe your animals, even when they are hiding.
The carefully hand-imprinted surface texture not only makes the palace look very natural, it also allows mosses to get a good foothold here, and also increases the area where beneficial bacterial films can colonize.
