Glandular Ludwigia - Ludwigia glandulosa - Dennerle pot
This very beautiful and eye-catching aquatic plant is still a rather rare to find in the aquarium. Its typically elongated leaves form a great contrast to green aquarium plants or moss. You can realize great group plantings with this red plant and plant real eye-catchers in your aquarium - or you can keep the glandular Ludwigia rather small and bushy by regular pruning. Ludwigia glandulosa is more suitable for experienced aquarists. - Garnelio
Description
Glandular Ludwigia - Ludwigia glandulosa - Dennerle Pot
Another beautifully colored Ludwigia is Ludwigia glandulosa. It already shows color aspects in emersed greenhouse culture with intense red stems. The upper and lower sides of the leaves are colored wine red in the submerged leaves. The species does not branch as much as other Ludwigias, so a stepped arrangement of the stems is especially recommended. Absolutely necessary is very good lighting and sufficient CO2 additions. In combination with light green plants this Ludwigia comes into its own best.
Our recommendation: For a magnificent plant growth we recommend the use of the NatureHolic fertilizer series and for new plants we recommend the use of the Premium Nutrient NatureHolic GroundBooster.
Expert Tip: With the NatureHolic plant glue you can glue this plant gently and easily to stones, roots and decoration . Made in Germany, the adhesive does not pollute the water and has no negative impact on the stocking.
