GRNLO - Cherax Junior House - Aquarium Deco Cave

The Cherax Junior House offers young Cherax, but also other juvenile crayfish and of course dwarf crayfish a great home in your aquarium. The pyramid of three clay tubes made of natural brown ceramic gives protection and shelter to three crayfish at once. The diameter of the caves in the Cherax Junior House is with 3 cm sufficient for young Cherax, small to medium sized Procambarus and dwarf crayfish. Super is the ceramic hiding place for the aquarium also suitable for larger fan shrimp or large arm shrimp!

The natural open-pored ceramic provides a huge surface on which bacteria can settle - important filter bacteria that can remove pollutants from the water, improve water quality and also form biofilms that are readily eaten by shrimp and also by crayfish.

To integrate the natural brown ceramic tubes into the layout of your aquarium, it is possible to plant the caves with mosses or perennial plants such as Anubias nana or other small perennial plants. This can be done with a plant glue or in the classic way: mosses and aquarium plants are tied to the cave pyramid with a nylon thread.

The tubes of the Cherax Junior House are open at the front and back so that the crayfish can escape if another crayfish is interested in them or their hiding place in the aquarium.
