from over 3,000 reviews "The funny GRNLO Neo Skull is a great shrimp hiding place made of natural brown ceramic. The comic skull is for your dwarf shrimp and also for dwarf crayfish in the aquarium a funny and pretty cool hiding place that not everyone has.
The cuddly, inside hollow hiding place is shaped like a funny comic skull and has soft roundish shapes. Here shrimp and dwarf crayfish will find different sized openings to crawl in and out of, lots of ways to play, and a very cool hiding spot in general. The NeoSkull has different openings with a diameter between 0,8 and 2 cm, suitable for all ages and sizes of shrimps and dwarf crabs.
You can buy the NeoSkull without moss, or with professional planting for even more naturalness in the aquarium. We use mosses that are especially popular with shrimps and dwarf crayfish: Choose between the bottle-green, somewhat broader branched freshwater kelp, especially finely structured moss ball on top, classic spiky moss, green lambent, upright growing flame moss (especially funny, looks like hair on the skull), slightly overhanging growing weeping m oss, triangular fir-shaped Christmas moss or medium green branched growing Java moss. You can either simply pluck the mosses into shape with your fingers or trim them with a good pair of plant shears if the moss cushions become too large for you in the aquarium.
The comic skull for the aquarium is made of natural ceramic with an open-pored surface, which makes the settlement of biofilms with important filter bacteria particularly easy. In addition to the bacteria in your aquarium filter, the bacteria break down pollutants from the water and can thus contribute to a higher water quality. Biofilms are also an important food source for shrimp, snails, growth-eating catfish and dwarf crayfish. They are especially readily grazed on by the aufwuchsfressern.
