Hallo Holger, vielen Dank für deine Frage! Wir haben endlich wieder einen zuverlässigen Lieferanten für die Tiere und werden sie wieder regelmäßig bei uns im Angebot haben.

Question: "Guten Tag, Ich hätte gerne gewusst wie groß diese Schnecke wird und ob sie sich auch im Süßwasserbecken nachzüchten lässt. Frisst sie die Pflanzen an oder frisst sie eher Algen? LG"

Sie erreich eine Größe von ca. 5 cm. Die Tiere fressen Staubfutter für Jungfische, Futtertabletten oder zerriebenes Flockenfutter für Zierfische. Auch überbrühter Salat, Möhren oder verrottendes Laub von Buche, Eiche, Brennnessel und Kirschbaum werden gerne genommen, wie bei allen Tylos kann es sein, dass sie an Pflanzen geht, wenn sie nicht genügend Gemüse vorfindet.. Sie sind lebendgebärend. Die Schnecken lassen sich problemlos im Aquarium nachzüchten, bringen alle paar Wochen ein einzelnes Jungtier lebend zur Welt.
