Mussels in the aquarium
When setting up the aquarium you do not necessarily have to pay attention to the mussels, but an important point is that the substrate is rummageable for the mussels. Aquariums with mussels are characterized by particularly crystal clear water. The reproduction of mussels in the aquarium is rather unlikely because the larvae of the animals go through several stages until the finished animal and most likely require very fine microfood which is usually not available in the aquarium.
The animals offered by us in the store are from more or less tropical areas and are suitable for aquarium keeping and can therefore be kept without problems.
Food: Crumble food tablets or flake food, so that the mussels can take it. Spirulina or spinach powder is an excellent food for mussels.
