Bacopa caroliniana has been used as an aquarium plant for many years. It originates from the USA and quickly grows to a height of 30 cm, while the stems are 3-4 cm wide. Apart from the relatively high light requirement, an undemanding plant. Because of its slow growth, it is one of the few stem plants that do not require much care. Like most stem plants, it is most effective in a smaller group. Can be easily propagated by cuttings by taking side shoots and planting them in the substrate.
