Basically a Malawi tank should be as large as possible. This is due to the large space requirements of the fish, they cannot be kept as pairs. 
The females among the mouthbrooders only take care of the brood. The males, on the other hand, are constantly on the move, looking for new females with which to breed. You should always keep Malawi cichlids as follows ,, per male at least 2 females "

They are relatively low maintenance in terms of food, the chichlids can be fed with live food as well as frozen food. Of course they also like to be fed with Natureholic Chichfeed, they love it!
There should not be a lack of hiding places with hardscape or clay tubes. Planting in your tank is always recommended, however the Thick Skins do not depend on it, so it is not necessary. The pH should be kept between 7.0 and 8.5.

The breeding of the fish is relatively easy and could already be observed a few times in aquariums. The females are mouth brooders and take over the part of the brood care the male takes over the precinct care.
