Moor pine root - size XS - XXL

The bog pine root is ideal for an aquarium with fish and/or invertebrates and comes in five different sizes from XS to XL: XS 10-25 cm / S 15-30 cm / M 20-35 cm / L 30-40 cm / XL 40-45 cm /XXL 45-50cm 

The bogwood is already cleaned and watered. Each root is individually packed wet and was previously steam sterilized. This elaborate processing ensures that the bog root sinks into the water immediately after insertion. Nevertheless, please pre-water the root for a few days before using it in the aquarium. In the bag, the wet roots are preserved with salt to prevent mold. Therefore, the salt residues should be watered out.

Bog pine roots have an extremely positive effect on the water environment: they release humic acids and tannins, which make the water biotope-friendly. These substances give the water a faint amber tone. Bog pine roots stain very little. Their beautiful natural forms make them ideal for a naturalistic aquarium.

Also as a base for mosses or perching plants bog roots are great.

The product photos show an example of one of the roots. This is a natural product, and each individual bog root has its own characteristic shape.
