Nano Lavastones

With our Nano Lavastones you offer the tiny and invisible helpers in your aquarium an optimal place to settle and multiply: we are talking about the useful microorganisms, which contribute significantly to an increase in water quality due to their presence, because they take over the lion's share in the decomposition of pollutants. They can be found practically everywhere in the aquarium; on all surfaces of equipment, plant leaves, decorations and in the substrate. They form a veritable biofilm, which invertebrates in particular nibble off with abandon. Their work contributes significantly to the improvement of water quality and thus to the well-being of all the well-kept occupants.

Accordingly, "surface extensions" are therefore extremely useful, because the more of them there are, the better the "good cleaning bacteria" can multiply. The extremely porous structure of the Nano Lavastones, which is very rough and has several depressions, is therefore perfectly equipped for this task. Our Nano Lavastones are an untreated natural product that can be used for this purpose without hesitation. Rinse the Nano Lavastones under clear water before first use to remove abrasion caused by transport.

You can use the Nano Lavastones in different ways; either in the aquarium itself as decoration, but also loose or in a net for filter media in the external filter. For this purpose, choose the last filter stage if possible, so that the Nano Lavastones are not clogged by coarse dirt. From time to time you should also clean the lava stones. Simply rinse them under cold water. Please note, however, that a lot of bacteria are lost in the process, which you should replenish elsewhere with a bacteria preparation, our Bacter Liquid is ideally suited for this purpose.
