Narrow-leaved Giant Water Lily - Hygrophila stricta Thailand

This cultivar has large but narrower leaves than the parent form H. corymbosa. Again, the underwater leaves turn bright green, but underwater the spacing of the leaf pairs is denser. In open aquariums, the shoot tips can grow out and also quickly reappear the vibrant dark green leaf color. Good lighting and_{CO2 additions} greatly enhance growth.
