Cryptocoryne lucens is easy to care for and simple in culture. The plant forms narrow and pure green leaves. With a growth height of 10 - 20 cm it is well suited for the foreground. It grows quite slowly, so care requirements are low. As with many rosette-like growing plants, only outer and older leaves are removed.
