Today, infrared radiation is used therapeutically in medicine and also in cosmetics. It has a positive effect on wound healing, inflammation and even cancer and actively combats bacteria.
NatureHolic Infrared Balls also take advantage of the antibacterial effect of infrared light. They make this high-tech principle available to all aquarists because the microspheres, which are enriched with special minerals, react with the aquarium light and then emit a mild infrared radiation. It effectively curbs disease-causing germs and can keep the total germ count in aquarium water very low. This is imperative for successful husbandry and reproduction!
Pathogenic germs in the water are effectively inhibited by the infrared light and the germ count decreases. It is best to place the beads in a shrimp food bowl on the substrate in a well-flowed place, so that as many germs as possible come into contact with the helpful radiation.
Dosage: add 10 ml Infared Balls per 10 l water in the aquarium.
