Neon tetra gold - red - Paracheirodon axelrodi
The Neon red-gold is not only a feast for the eyes, but also a classic freshwater fish from South America. The animals are from a breeding and recognize the fish by their golden bodies. Neons red-gold are a real feast for the eyes and the perfect addition to your aquarium.
Neon red-gold are small fish that are very popular in aquariums. They grow to 3 cm and require a tank with an edge length of at least 50 cm. Neon red-gold love caves, roots, driftwood and rock or stone structures. These are preferred by them as a place of retreat. Neon red-gold like to feed on frozen and live food such as Artemia, Daphnia, bloodworms or Tubifex. They also like to eat flake food.
Our food recommendation: The NatureHolic main feed is a professional staple food for all aquarium fish. We supply Hauptfeed in the form of soft granules, which, thanks to its grain size of half a millimeter, can be easily absorbed by small to medium-sized fish. The soft consistency resembles the texture of insect larvae in nature and protects the fish mouth from micro-injuries.
Our plant recommendation: Use for planting NatureHolic InVitros. These are free of snails, planarians and other unwanted co-inhabitants. Also free of algae spores, bacteria and fungi.
Expert Tip: We recommend when keeping fish the NatureHolic 3 Phase Liquid. The care set offers the best all-round protection for your animals. It ensures optimal conditions for successful breeding and keeping.
