With the black bio swirls you contribute to an improvement of the water values in the aquarium. The black swirls increase the surface area in the aquarium and make it easier for beneficial microorganisms to settle and multiply. It is precisely these tiny and invisible helpers that break down pollutants and thus contribute a large part to water hygiene.

You can place the black bio eddies loose or with a filter net, as we carry it in our store, in the external filter. Soon the bio eddies will be taken over by cleaning bacteria and tirelessly help to break down organic waste. This is caused by dead plant parts, food remains, but also dead animals.

The bio-vortexes are made of water-neutral material, which does not influence the water values or release substances. They are therefore ideal for use in external filters and can be used for freshwater aquariums, in ponds or even in saltwater tanks. Before using them for the first time, you should rinse the Bio Swirls to remove abrasion caused by transport. Every now and then, the Bio Vortices can be rinsed clear to remove coarse debris.

We recommend never changing all filter media at the same time, otherwise too many microorganisms will be lost. With our Natureholic Crusta Bacter Liquid you can replenish them perfectly, even after water changes.
