Palm Pods are a great natural product that provides an extremely harmonious and authentic look in the aquarium. The dried seed pods come from palm trees and can be used under water without hesitation. Especially as a mini-cave for dwarf shrimps these purely natural hiding places are great. Especially during the gestation period, but also in the midst of the vital moulting phase, the animals like to retreat.

The half-open light brown grained seed pods support a natural layout and are also super suitable for use in the terrarium. The small caves are between 5-7 cm in size and thanks to their roughened surface also provide the perfect substrate for the settlement of microorganisms, which especially shrimps like to graze. So they are well taken care of even when withdrawn.

Before the first use, the Palm Pods should be pre-watered so that they stay down faster, alternatively, you can also weigh them down ready decorated with a heavy object. To remove abrasion caused by transport they should be rinsed before first use. Also between green plants or with small Aufsitzern or Mosses the Palm Pods also look great and unique when placed between green plants or with small perennials or can also be used as mini plant pots.
