Permanent hook lily - Crinum calamistratum
Crinum calamistratum originated in West Africa and is a very decorative bulbous plant with dark green, very narrow and wavy leaves that grow 40-120 cm long. It forms fewer bulbs than other Crinum species and requires slightly more light. However, in the aquarium, well-grown plants often form numerous side bulbs. Will not be eaten by herbivorous fish and can be used in brackish water aquariums with low salt concentration.
