The Sagittaria Sab.Species is an easy to maintain plant that grows quickly and reproduces abundantly by runners. If the plant is not sufficiently illuminated, it stretches itself after the light and increases in length growth.
It resembles Sagittaria subulata in appearance, but in comparison has 10mm wide leaves and a growth height of 40 cm, and is therefore very suitable for mid-background planting in not too high aquariums.
A fine-grained substrate and good nutrient supply are recommended. Propagation is by runners, if these are regularly cut off from the mother plant and replanted, large stands can be grown very quickly.
