The Red Rili Shrimp is also called Kohaku Shrimp. It is a relatively new color variation of the popular Red Sakura, in which only the head and tail area is intensely red colored and the middle of the body is transparent. This color form was first selectively bred in Taiwan. The offspring are hereditary, only the color distribution may vary slightly. Due to its robustness and good reproduction rates, the Red Rili shrimp is also suitable for beginners in shrimp keeping.
Like other shrimp of the genus Neocaridina, the Red Rili grows up to 2.5 centimeters. Since it is an omnivore, it has no special demands on its food. Twice a week the animals should be fed with a suitable protein food , otherwise they prefer vegetable food. Brown foliage should always be present as in any invertebrate aquarium.
Since these are group animals, a starting stock of 10 to 20 Red Rili shrimp is recommended. These shrimp are very peaceful, they socialize well with other invertebrates such as crabs, snails and clams , and also with peaceful, small fish. They are also suitable for the shrimp aquaterrarium , provided the water part is freshwater and holds at least 10 liters. They can be kept together with other shrimps, provided that the requirements for water values are at least similar. If you keep them together with Red Sakura, you can expect to find only red and red-transparent animals in the offspring, because the Red Rili is descended from the Red Sakura.
The breeding of the Red Rili shrimp is very easy. After a gestation period of three to four weeks, the female releases up to 40 fully developed juveniles that grow up in freshwater and can remain in the parent aquarium.

Die Farben könnten intensiver sein aber vielleicht kommt das ja noch. Ansonsten eine aktive und schöne kleine Garnele.

die Tiere haben bei der Ankuft noch eine Schockfärbung, weshalb die schöne intensive Farbe erst nach ein paar Tagen zu sehen ist.
