Salvinia minima ist ein kleiner Schwimmfarn aus Mittel- und Südamerika, der sich hervorragend zur Algenvorbeugung eignet. Mit ihren rundlichen, bis zu 2,5 cm großen Schwimmblättern bildet sie schnell dichte Teppiche auf der Wasseroberfläche. Die pflegeleichte Pflanze dient nicht nur als effektiver Nährstoffzehrer, sondern auch als zuverlässiger Indikator: Kleine, hellgrüne Blätter deuten auf einen Nährstoffmangel hin. Salvinia minima CUP - Dennerle InVitro Schwimmpflanze
Der Artname minima verrät es bereits – es ist eine kleine Schwimmfarn- Art aus Mittel -und Südamerika. Die Schwimmblätter sind meist rundlich und sind zwischen 1 cm bis 2,5 cm groß. Die schwimmenden Stängel können eine Größe von 8 bis 10cm erreichen, danach brechen sie meist auseinander. Salvinia minima ist eine pflegeleicht Pflanze und ist ideal zur Algenvorbeugung geeignet. Auch als Indikatorpflanze in Bezug der Nährstoffe im Wasser ist Sie gut einsetzbar. Kleinere, hellgrüne Blätter sind ein sicheres Anzeichen von Nährstoffmangel.
