Shodo stone

Shodo Stones have not been known in aquaristics for very long and fascinate with their elegant appearance. Each stone was individually polished by hand, so that its surfaces are very smooth and the fine different lines come out great. These are very reminiscent of the artistic Japanese calligraphy. So nothing stands in the way of an aquarium layout of the extra class!

The water-neutral Shodo Stones are super for any aquarium, but even more so for the so-called aquascaping and also soft water aquariums suitable, in which rather acidic water parameters are preferred.  They do not affect the carbonate hardness and do not release anything else into the water. Thanks to their increased surface area in the aquarium, however, they offer useful bacteria a super settlement area. Especially shrimps like to nibble down this biofilm, so you will see your favorites frequently!

The Shodo Stones will not hold on the smooth stones and also mosses should rather be glued on, but thanks to their extraordinary design they already convince by their unique appearance.  Especially Iwagumis they give a very natural charm. They can also be used to create natural river layouts.

You can choose the Shodo Stones from the sizes S, M and L and immediately start designing! Especially in combination with different sizes you create great accents. With small ground cover you bring the  so far still quite rare hardscape prima to advantage.

Before first use, the Shodo Stones should be rinsed to remove transport-related dust and abrasion.
