Shrimp house 6er - Aquarium Deco

The shrimp house S is handmade from fired clay in Germany. It is wonderfully suitable as a shelter for shrimp and their offspring, as well as for small dwarf crayfish.

Shrimp and dwarf crayfish also need periods of rest. Especially directly after a moult they like to find a place where they are undisturbed. Our shrimp houses are also a good hiding place for females that are too harassed by the males, egg-bearing females or for young animals and offer them a safe retreat.

The slightly rough surface of the ceramic with its beautiful structure offers the good, pollutant-degrading bacteria a great surface on which they can settle ideally. In this way, the Shrimp House S contributes to good water quality.

To let the shrimp house "disappear" a bit in the aquarium, it can be planted well with moss, which thanks to the rough surface can get a good foothold and grows quickly.
