Small Deep Red Ludwigia - Ludwigia palustris Super Red - Tropica pot
This cosmopolitan stem plant grows simpler, red and is smaller than the well known Ludwigia repens "Ruby". The individual stems grow 2 - 4 cm wide and 10 - 30 cm high. The plant readily forms plenty of side shoots, but pruning naturally increases their quantity, and the plant becomes even denser. The cut shoots can be replanted and quickly develop new roots. Optimizing the growth conditions, e.g. by lighting and CO₂ addition, the plant acknowledges with a more intense red color and stronger growth.
