With its overhanging shoots, Southeast Asian Weeping Moss resembles a weeping willow. Planted on the ground, Vesicularia ferriei grows low and creeping, if you tie it on stones or wood, it grows hanging down.
Like all mosses, Weeping Moss has a huge surface area on which nitrifying bacteria can colonize and which shrimp love to graze. Baby shrimp find nice hiding places in the dense shoots.
Weeping moss remains rather low, but it should be cut back from time to time so that it continues to grow bushy and compact. To do this, cut off the top 0.5 to 1 cm. These remnants can then be tied up. If this is too fiddly, use cyanoacrylate-based superglue.
This Weepingmoss comes from in vitro culture and was grown germ-free and without pollutants. It is guaranteed to bring no pathogens, algae or parasites such as worms and also no snails. Before insertion, the nutrient gel should be carefully rinsed under running water.
Expert Tip: With the NatureHolic plant glue stick this plant gently and easily on stones, roots and decoration . Made in Germany, the adhesive does not pollute the water and has no negative impact on the stock.
