Christmas Moss (Vesicularia montagnei) is originally from Indonesia. With its regular triangular growth and branched fronds that look a bit like fir branches, it is also known as Christmas tree m oss. The fronds are often bent downward a bit.
Christmas Moss is ideal for the foreground or for planting around roots and rocks in the midground to background. It looks very native and forms beautiful large and dense pads.
This Christmasmoss comes from invitro culture. It is free of algae, pollutants and pests.
Christmas Moss is very easy to propagate, it is enough to divide the cushions or simply cut off a few fronds. The moss should be trimmed from time to time anyway, these fronds can be used immediately. They can be tied on roots or stones with a nylon thread or simply cultivated on the ground.
In the shrimp aquarium Christmas moss is a great accessory, here biofilms can settle, which are gladly eaten by shrimps. The dense fronds of the moss provide nice hiding places for shrimp.
Christmasmoss also fits very well emersed in humid terrariums, for example for Geosesarma land crabs.
Expert Tip: With the NatureHolic plant glue you stick this plant gently and easily on stones, roots and decoration . Made in Germany, the adhesive does not pollute the water and has no negative impact on the stock.
