Since white mosquito larvae are considered indicators of high water quality, they can be fed without worrying about contamination. They are relatively high in protein and contain little fat.
White mosquito larvae are also called "glass rod larvae" because of their transparent color.
Store the sachets of white mosquito larvae as live food in the refrigerator. Then you should feed the larvae as soon as possible. If you want to take more time with feeding, you should transfer the bags into a container with a lid with fresh water, but also keep it in the refrigerator. At higher temperatures the larvae would soon pupate and mosquitoes would hatch, then they are useless as live food.
Here you can buy live white mosquito larvae shrink-wrapped in a bag for live food in portions of 45, 90 or 180 ml.
