The White Pearl shrimp is a real eye-catcher in the aquarium. In itself, it is not particularly colorful, but rather milky transparent - but the bright white eggs of the females are very striking and attractive. They also gave this color variety its name. Adult White Pearl Shrimp can grow up to three centimeters in size, although the males usually remain somewhat smaller and are also slimmer.

All in all, the White Pearl Shrimp is a very peaceful, hardy and useful shrimp. It prefers to graze algae growth and other biofilms, keeping the aquarium clean. White Pearl shrimp also like to eat special shrimp food. They should be fed 2x per week with a protein food tailored to their needs and otherwise be fed a more plant-based diet.
