 In every filter for the aquarium there are wearing parts that you need to replace little by little. Furthermore, you will find elbows that prevent hoses from kinking and hold your filter hoses securely over the edge of the aquarium, for example, thus preventing the flow and thus the filter performance from being reduced.

Intake sets for the filter inlet and various filter outlets are also available here, for example from JBL and - for the Scapers' Flow - also from Dennerle. It is advisable to install new intake sets and filter outlets, especially for filters purchased second-hand or for filters that have been out of service for a long time. The old inlets and outlets are often calcified or algae, and you can get all kinds of nasty things in the aquarium.

With the filter outlets from JBL you have the choice between a nozzle jet pipe, which provides a uniform wide water flow and a high oxygen input, or a wide jet pipe for a powerful, targeted flow and a good jet-like movement of the water surface.
