We also have great furnishings for the terrarium in our online store at Garnelio. Here you will find coconut caves made of half to three-quarters coconuts as hiding places for example for crabs in an aquaterrarium and food bowls for crabs, also made of coconut shells. Great hiding places and opportunities for climbing can also be built for crabs in terrariums and aquaterrariums with cork sheets and cork tubes.
With coconut fiber mats you can make your terrarium wall usable for crabs. Especially the small land crabs from the genus Geosesarma, also known as vampire crabs, climb excellently even on vertical walls if they find a sufficiently rough surface. With the Natureholic coconut fiber mat, you can increase the climbing surface quite significantly with a few blobs of terrarium silicone. Here you can buy simple mats made of fine coconut fibers of brown, black and green color, but we also offer coarser mats made of coconut husk pieces. Larger crab species can also get a foothold here, and these mats can also be planted with mosses, for example.
For planting, we also have mats with prefabricated plant containers and a different number of plant bags in our online store.
The flexible l iana, which winds through the terrarium for 200 long centimeters and spreads jungle feeling, also looks decorative. The liana is made of plastic, it is fully washable and offers your crabs a natural climbing opportunity.
As a substrate for the terrarium is also coconut material, either the coarser coconut husk pieces or the coconut fiber in brick form. The brick is placed in the water and then disintegrates into small particles, which are an optimal substrate for crab terrariums. In the process, the substrate increases enormously in volume - a mini brick yields 2 liters of loose moist substrate, the XXL brick unfolds into an incredible 70 liters of terrarium substrate.
