This coco cave planted with Christmas moss and an Anubias barteri var. nana "Bonsai" offers your invertebrates such as shrimps, smaller crabs in the aquarium or also crabs in the wet terrarium on land as well as in the water as well as smaller to medium-sized catfish a decorative hiding place.
In addition to the beautiful Anubias barteri var. nana "Bonsai" with its delicate dark green leaves, this coconut cave is planted with Christmas moss (Vesicularia montagnei). The moss attaches itself to the Coco Shell with its adhesive organs and continues to grow there. The Coco Shell offers your animals an optimal and at the same time very natural looking hiding place in the foreground or in the middle ground.
The Christmas moss with its evenly triangular, very strong shoots fits optically wonderfully to the Anubias. The moss as well as the Anubias belong to the perching plants, which can be cultivated optimally on roots, coconut caves, ceramic tubes and so on or also tied up on stones.
The attractive moss cushions are very easy to propagate: Simply cut off a few shoots and reattach them. Anubias is also easy to propagate, here the rhizome (the thick rootstock) is divided. From time to time the moss should be cut into shape.
