The beauty known as Strombus lutuanus actually originates from the Indo-Pacific and Australia and is also very uncomplicated in its keeping requirements, which makes it ideal for beginners.
On its bright shell you can find attractive interrupted brown lines. It reaches a size of about 8 cm and shows a very sociable behavior, which is why it should be kept in a group. With her cute stalk eyes you almost think she is watching her surroundings. At the moment we have no information about a breeding of these great animals.
In the saltwater aquarium it is a gladly seen co-inhabitant, which above all cyano algae (red smear algae) the fight announces and an active infestation quite briskly decimates can.
